I was asked to use Nike ID to design 4 pair of Nike Airmax for the mexican athletes from the "House of Her" Brenda Flores, Marina Dantas, Madelin Torres and Juana Cortés. Then I was asked to create an illustration and simple animation inspired in those athletes and their Nike Airmax. I also made two more illustrations for the olympic athletes Paola Espinosa an d Ale Orozco, who's Airmax were designed by the beautifully tallented girls from "Flaminguettes". As I knew very little of each athlete because the project was supposed to be a surprise for those girls, I had to search info from the internet and several interviews I had from them. This was little information for me, so I decided to have fun and read some Tarot cards for each of the athletes and base my illustrations in the characteristics of each card combined with what I knew about them.
